Most of the time when we go on road trips, Boyfriend drives and I’m the living GPS. That’s actually one of my many nicknames – the living GPS. Actually not that hard to get that nickname when my competition (Boyfriend) can’t even find his own pinky finger if I don’t show him. I’m also the DJ, I decide which songs we are gonna sing out of tune to.
Anyway, we’re on our way to the New Year’s eve party when I suddenly realized: we need to come up with some new years resolutions! Quickly! (Well, it turned out we didn’t need to do it that quick since the roads where drowning in snow and our little car Styrbjörn kept slipping of the road.) I started thinking about the past year, all the good things, all the challenging moments, my favorite parts, parts that I want to forget. And I guess I need some reflection to realize that I’m unbelievably lucky and I’m actually living the life of my dreams. Sure I have plenty of things to improve and much more to learn, but overall I just need to lean back and enjoy life. So, my new years resolution for 2011 is see the golden moments in the ups and downs and appreciate life much much more. I started with enjoying our drive through the magical winter-land and our loud (false) singing!
