Yay! I'm so glad you found your way to my blog! I'm a wedding photographer based in Stockholm, Sweden but I love to travel and work as an destination photographer all over the world. I'm the biggest chocoholic, hopelessly addicted to my iPhone and I love hugs - to be huged, to hug, to see other people hugh. ♥
This is my combined website and blog - here you'll find pictures from my lastest shoots or see all my wedding photography images, look at my portfolio, get answers to the most frequently asked questions, see my photography rates, learn more about my photography or just get to know me better. In other words, there are lots to see and do.
And if you still haven't got enough, your welcome to my studio at Vanadisvägen in Stockholm and I'll talk photography, weddings and high heels until your ears fall off. Or until my chocolate abstinence kicks in and I have to run to the store and get some..

Molly Marie Williams - Congratulations!

A thank you card worth waiting for

In the end of June I had the honor of shooting Carl & Katerina’s (swedish) wedding at Fullerö Herrgård outside Västerås. And in September I got to photograph their (russian) wedding in Moscow Russia. I knew the Russian wedding would be something different because the theme was Karl XII meets Katerina The Great but I really had no idea what I was about to experience. Arriving at the airport (with my sweet friend and awsome second shooter Anna) we were greated by a personal driver with an enlargement of one of my pictures from their Swedish wedding (all the guests was greated this way). At the hotel we had champagne, russian sweets and a free mini-bar in our hotel rooms! (Phew, the hard life as a wedding photographer…) And, they had also made a magazine about their Swedish wedding. With my images everywhere. Crazy!

The day of the wedding, we woke up to find they decorated the intire hotel with lifesize enlargements of my photos from their swedish wedding. Where ever I looked, I saw my own images. Strange feeling. The wedding day was incredible (to see the photos click here), Anna and I worked from early morning ’til 3 am that day. (Then we had an hour to download images before we had to head to the airport to fly back to sweden and shoot another wedding the next day.) Crazy! Again!

So the other day, I recieved a package in the mail – Carl & Katerina’s thank you card. Or should I say, thank you magazine. Becausse they actually made an entire magazine from their 4 day Russian wedding. Filled with photos and gossip! I’m speachless. Honestly, how amazing! ♥

Yes – you can even find a little photo of me in it…!

Behind the scences with Becker

Last summer I had the honor of second shooting with [B]ecker, if you are a wedding photographer you know who he is but if you are not familier with the name - [B]ecker is a fabulous wedding photographer located in CA, USA. He’s a b.i.g. goofball and an true artist. He can really make his clients realax, he nail every shoot and with an open heart he shares everything he knows about photography – a big role model. You can find out more about him on his blog and if you’re a photographer make sure to check out the [b]-school.

I had been following [B]eckers blog ever since I started my photography business, but first time I met him was at his and Jessica Claires workshop in Stockholm last May. He invited me to come and second shoot with him at a wedding in Connecticut USA a few week later and obviously I was thrilled! Day of the wedding, however, I was nervous. Like “can’t-stop-shaking-think-I-might-throw-up”-nervous but [B]ecker was as cool as always and his beautiful girlfriend Keates was there as well and helped me out. The day was amazing. I work, hard. But I had so much fun doing it. And I learned soooo much. Thank you both [B]ecker (for the opportunity) and Keates (for helping me out)!

A few days ago, [B]ecker posted some “behind the scenes”-photos on his blog – you can see me and Keates on the left (with our ShootSacs), our beautiful bride and groom to the right and actually one of my photos on bottom left. To see the full post, head over to [B]eckers blog!

I ♥ comments

We all have those days. Days when you have nothing to wear, you can’t come up with anything to make for supper or days when your are always one step behind. I have those days, alot. Especially the “nothing to wear”-days. Those days I either buy the biggest bar of chocolate or I simply go to my own website and read the comments on my posts. I know, I’m such a dork. But seriously, nothing makes me happier than seeing that there are people who read all the goofy things I post on my blog. To know that there is someone who cares when I post images from my trips or that at least one person learns something new from my FAQ on photography-posts. So I (and my waistline) wanted to sent the biggest thank you hug to everyone who left a comment on my blog. You make me smile, more than once.  ♥

Molly Marie Williams - Hello, I’m a new photographer in Southern California and I have been following your blog for a while now. I should have commented long ago and thanked you for your truly inspiring photographs. You have set a very high standard in my own mind about what I expect myself to be able to achieve one day. You really are one of my favorite photographers I have ever come across on this great big blogosphere and I wanted to thank you for your beautiful work and the way you are pushing me to be better every single day. Jose Villa & Gene Higa’s photography workshop in Tuscany, Italy

Just recieved this picture in my mailbox – it’s the group shoot we took at Jose Villa’s and Gene Higas’s workshop in Tuscany, Italy this fall. This day we had all head in to Florens to photograph but, and this is a BIG but for a photographer, we were only allowed to bring ONE camera and ONE lens! Yikes! I decided to bring my new little Holga that I recieved the day before (thank you again Gene and Jose!) and 2 roll with color and 2 black/white – each with 12 exposures. All in all, 48 exposures in a plastic camera which has three focus steps (1 person, 3 persons or landscape) during my only day in Florens! But that day I found something. I can´t really explain what exactly. But it was a feeling, a uforic feeling. All from having to read the light, nail my composition and taking one single shoot. It was…magic. Photography magic. Don’t take me wrong, I still l.o.v.e. my digital camera and if you booked me for a wedding this summer – don’t worry, I won’t shoot it with my Holga. But my digital camera will never give me as much feeling as my lovely little Holga. ♥

Back to the images that I first started talking about, our group shoot:

Photo by: some random guy we stopped on the street but I’m pretty sure it was with Bob Davis camera!

Melissa Schollaert - Awww…Just got chills looking at this photo and thinking back on that day. I’ll never forget when you got on the train and said, “I HAD THE BEST DAY!!!” and you were so excited. That day is one of the best days that I’ve ever had too. I miss you and everyone from the workshop! :)
