Time for part two (click here if you missed post no 1) of Carl and Katerinas wedding in Mosow, Russia. As I already told you, they had an 18th century theme which I now know is a code for: “hold-on-Alicia-this-is-going-to-be-a-sumptuous-wedding-photographer-dream”. Bear with me, and maybe grab some refreshment because this is going to be a long post, but soon you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about…

The curch was breath taking but the lighting was difficult, thank god for my Canon 5d mark II with ISO 6400…

The ceremony was all in russian and I didn’t get a thing, but what does that matter when it looks like this:

I normally don’t post a lot of photos of the guests, but here I just couldn’t help myself – these guests are just to fabulous!

Some Russian traditions. Eat some bread…
…drink some vodka…
…and smash a plate…
…and you live happy ever after!
There was alot of food, and vodka.
C & K held a wonderful speech to K’s father who hosted the wedding at his hotell.

Did I meantion there was vodka served? ;)

After dinner, everyone went outside to enjoy some spectacular fireworks!

The revealing of the stunning 18th century cake:

K and her little sister:

Oh, yes – this is our groom, Carl working it on the dance floor.

Carl & Katja – thank you. Thank you for the honour of shooting your wedding, again. Thank you for showing me Moscow. But most of, thank you for letting me in and feel like a part of your family. You are simple fabulous together and I am so happy for the two of you. Keep spreading the love. /A
