Most clients have a.l.o.t. of questions, here are a few of the most frequently asked…
Do you shoot digital or film?
At assignments I only shoot digital but during my spare time I love to play around with my little plastic Holga.
What is in that big camera bag of yours?
I’m a Canon-girl! My main camera is currently a 5D mark II but I always have my back-up (a 5D) with me along with a variation of lenses:
50 mm, f 1.4 – I love it, probably more than chocolate…
70-200 mm, f 2.8 – I could shoot an entire wedding with this baby!
24-70 mm, f 2.8 – great for overview images
50 mm, f 2,5 and 100 mm macro lens both amazing for rings and details
a BIG water bottle and some candy, ok – lots of candy…
Do you use any lighting equipment?
I l.o.v.e. natural light, especially the yummy soft golden rays right before sunset. But, however, after sunset and when necessary I do use some simple lighting equipment.
Do you travel for destination weddings?
Y.E.S. I l.o.v.e. to travel and no distance is to far! I have done destination weddings in both Europe, Russia and the USA and I can’t wait to do more!
How long before the wedding should I book my photographer?
Well, as soon as possible. Every year there are certain dates that are more populare than others, so to be sure to start looking for a photographer right away!
How do I book you as our photographer?
First, check my portfolio and my rates, Then fill out the contact form and tell me all about the wedding! When? Where? How? And I will get back to you as soon as possible to let you know my availability on your date. You are more than welcomed to come by my studio so we can sit down and get to know eachother a little bit better before you decide. Please not: this is not a booking or a reservation of your date, only an inquery. A booking is completet first when the Wedding Photography Agreement is signed and the retainer is paied.
What should we think about to make the most out of our portrait session?
R.e.l.a.x. and have fun. That’s it. I’ll do the rest.
Do you need anything to eat during the wedding?
To make sure you have a happy photographer during the enitre shoot, I need some (absolutly) glutenfree food, preferably when you eat your main course. I like to sit in the room right next to you so I can keep an eye on what’s going one without being in the way. This only apply if I work more than 5 hours.
How does it all work after the wedding?
You will get a personal password to view your wedding images online about 6-10 weeks after the wedding. From there you choose which ones you want to print, include in your album or make into enlargements – all whom will recieve some fabulous photoshop love. With the prints/albums you will also recieve a DVD with the digital negatives.
“Photoshop love”-what?
All the photos you choose to print will be individually processed i.e. corrected and adjusted for optimal color balance and skin tone and include basic retouching for mild acne, shiny foreheads, laugh lines and other small imperfections while preserving the natural characteristics of each individual.
