what does a photographer do during the winter? i make about a gizillion (don’t know if that’s an actual number but it means many, many, many) wedding albums, try to catch up with my friends that i hardly see during the wedding season and i try to photograph something else – kids, maternity, boudoir, families… and right now i have some special deals!

Luv, luv, luuuv when my wedding clients returns about a year later with a little baby on their arm! I photographed Henrik and Jeang-Won’s swedish/korean wedding last summer and now they have an ADORABLE daughter named Ingrid. Ingrid who has the longest eye lashes I’ve ever seen – hello cutiepie!

I’ve had several weddings this summer that are “non-blog”-weddings due to the bride and grooms public characters and they therefore want to keep their private event totally private… :( Boooring for all my blog readers, I know, but I have a few portrait sessions from this summer that I haven’t blogged yet so I’m gonna throw them up here the next few days – okey? First out is a few photos from a session I did with some returning clients – I photographed Jonny & Karin’s wedding my firs year in business, their first child Axel about a year after that and now it was time for their second child, August, to do his premier photo shoot with me!

    Va härligt med en norsk läsare!! :) Jag använde bara min 50 mm 1.2 och i photoshop har bilderna fått en kontrast-kurva och lite skärpa!

    Tenk, jeg tittet innom bare i tillfelle -og tenk jeg fikk svar SÅ raskt! T.A.K.K!

    Ja, du har en norsk følger, og jeg synes bildene dine er kjempefine. Når jeg skal kose meg og har litt tid til overs titter jeg alltid innom din blogg med en god kaffe i hånden. Om du husker tok du en kaffe rask te med meg da du besøkte Larvik. Det var Anna (Smallpig´en) som sa jeg måtte reise å høre på deg. Hun og jeg har en felles venninne og har møttes et par ganger da jeg bodde i Sthlm to år.

    Jeg tar ikke så mye bilder lenger, for ambisjonene ble høyere og høyere i takt med at jeg har fått minde tid. Har dog blitt mamma, og forsøker å ta litt bilder av min lille Aleksander. Har fått låne meg et 50 mm 1.4, men sliter med at jeg får uskarpe bilder. Har du noen tips?

    Det är lite trixigt med så korta skärpedjup. Se till att flytta runt “fokus-punkterna” och när du satt fokus inte “kompositera om” för mycket. Och träna, träna, träna! 50 mm 1,4 är ett grymt objektiv som du kommer vara urnöjd med när du väl lärt dig att hantera det! :)

Yay, yay, yay! I’m so happy to be receiving notes and comments from people who are signing up for my little talk, thank you – can’t wait to meet you all! (for you who don’t have a clue of what I’m talking about see the post below – there are still seats available!)     Oj, får man fråga vad man vill? :-) Vilka är dina drivkrafter? Var hämtar du din inspiration? Hur gör du för att utvecklas? Hur hittade du fram till din personliga redigeringsstil? Finns det böcker/kurser du kan rekommendera? Hur agerar du för att få dom du fotograferar att slappna av? Och så mer tekniska frågor som: använder du blixt (alltså inte om du fotar i studio :-))? I vilka lägen? Hälsningar från en som kikar på din blogg då och då och tycker att du skapar vackra bilder!

    Åh, om det inte är för sent – jag vill veta hur du började som professionell fotograf. Hur pushar du dig själv att utvecklas? Var hittar du inspiration från? Hur tycker du att man ska marknadsföra sig själv om man har en liten budget? Får man sälja sig billigt? Hur sätter man priser på sina foton? Och kanske mer tekniskt – vad fotar du med på bröllop? Viktigaste att tänka på när man fotar brölllop? Hur arbetar du före/under/efter bröllopet? Dina bästa bra-att-ha-prylar? Ja, listan kan bli lång. Ska bli jättespännande att lyssna på dig!

and Ramona

Some people you are just so darn blessed to have in your life – people that makes you laugh out loud, who loves you whatever mistake you might have done and that you miss when they are not around. My Ramona is one of them – I love her. And I love that chubby little son of hers! He’s the first baby I’ve ever considered cute even when he poops – and if that’s not love then I don’t know what is! ;)

Alicia & Gabriel

Every time I meet little Alicia I try to teach her to call me “big Alicia”! Yes, I have a little muffin-top but the main reason I wanna be called “big” is my 156 cm height. Or 166 if I’m wearing some high heels. And I’m gonna keep trying to get her to call me that even now when she’s got a baby brother Gabriel and can call herself a big sister. And I’m gonna enjoy it because in about 5 years she will probably be taller than me and I’ll go back to being little Alicia…

Louise & Ebba

the twins

I love twins. They are so cute, you can dress them up in matching outfits and they are so adorable when they fall all over each other. Sure they are normally a bit wild and all over the place but that’s what I like. Some action! Some fun! I want to have twins when I grow up! (please note that I choose to totally ignore the double amount of diapers, double amount of crying in the middle of the night and double amount of toys to clean up at the end of the day…) :D

I photographed Ola and Christina’s wedding back in 2009 and now they are parents to the twins Ebba and Louise – see what I mean about cute twin?! Yes, when I grow up I want twins like them!
