the annual wedding fair (bröllopsmässa) at Grand Hotel Stockholm is coming up in a few weeks and i will not only have a booth but i will also be speaking at Bröllopssalongen about how to get the perfect wedding photo!
Yepp, come by my booth in Spegelsalen – get to know me better, look at photos and take part of some special deals! We finally have a wedding blog in sweden!
Yepp, it’s the lovely ladies (and my beautiful friends) Madelin and Maria who started Sweden’s first wedding blog and of course they added their own favorite touch to it – vintage! And I am honored to be guest blogging there every other week about wedding photography! I’ll be talking about how to find your wedding photographer, how to get most out of your wedding photography, what to do with your wedding photos and much much more! My body probably hates me – instead of relaxing in the sun, talking long walks in the fresh air and eating healthy it’s been forced to work looong hours, running around at weddings and eating whatever I could find at the bottom of my camera bags for months now. But since the high season now is over my body shouted “pay-back-time!!” and told me to s.l.o.w. d.o.w.n. NOW. ;) Therefore I’m a bit behind and I have a few more weddings to edit and show for you (and a few I’m unfortunately not allowed to show you) but for the next few weeks I’m off travelling again (whoot-whoot) so it will take a while before I’m back in front of the computer and until then I’m showing you a few sneak-peaks from Christian and Katarinas wedding – enjoy!
Whenever I see a tourist on the streets of Stockholm I jump on them to give a helping hand finding out where they are on the map or give them advice on what to do, what to see, where to eat… Whether they want it or not. I just think Stockholm is so darn beautiful and I’m proud to be living here. :D
That’s why I shouted “yiipededuda” on the top of my lungs when Andreas and Sofie hired me to photograph their downtown Stockholm wedding! Ceremony at Ersta kyrka, reception at Hasselbacken and photos taken by the water in central Stockholm! Hurray! Madleen and Mårten brought chocolate to me the first time we met – wa-bam and they took the fastest shortcut to my belly and my heart. ;) Madleen & Mårten, or M&M, met online and during their ceremony we all got to hear their online dating presentations and I laughed so hard I had a hard time focusing on taking pictures! They truly show who they are. And with their permission and I’m so happy to share with you all the 2 000 (swedish) words that made these to hop on the shortcut to each others hearts.
“Jag är inte så enkel som en 2000 tecken lång beskrivning, men det hoppas jag att ingen är. Dock tycker jag att choklad ska innehålla mellan 50-70% kakao. Gillar snooze-knappen och brunch. Älskar Pågens Saffransgifflar. Gillar att träna – springer och gympar på Friskis&Svettis. En bra lördag börjar på ett café och slutar hemma i soffan eller på bio eller på en restaurang eller en vinbar eller ett uteställe… Fast någon klubb-hoppare är jag inte, det var länge sedan jag var ute och dansade (tråkigt nog). Skakade dock loss ordentligt på jobbets julfest…
Har ett oanvänt dykcert eftersom jag saknar en dyk-kompis. Har även annan friluftsutrustning, men gillar min nya soffa som är stor och härlig – perfekt för mysiga filmkvällar.
Min önskelista: en smart tjej med fötterna på jorden och som kan skämta. Jag önskar att det pirrade till varje gång telefonen piper: “hoppas det är ett sms från dig”. Önskar mig pirr i magen, ett leende på läpparna och någon att hålla om.”

i always try to tell my clients to enjoy their day from start to finish. every moment, every second. a few weeks ago i photographed this couple’s wedding and i couldn’t stop smiling while watching them sneak away from the party and enjoy the beautiful summer night’s moon.

Har precis avslutat min praktik som PR-guru hos Madelin och Maria, så jag satt en dag och gick igenom dessa bilder. Dom é bara SÅ underbara! Man vill lixom VA bruden i bilderna! En av mina favoritbilder var dock den där Ebbe ligger med tassarna på bordet och stirrar på tårtan :) Jag skulle gärna vilja ha dom där klänningarna, bilen, butlern och brudgummen… ;)
